Announcing the Linnell Family Association 2022 Scholarship Recipient

We have a winner! Camryn Beisch of Lawton, Oklahoma is our 2022 recipient of
the Linnell Family Association $1,500 scholarship award based on her outstanding
high school academic record and her written essay about her great-uncle, David
Linnell. Camryn is a National Honor Society member and an All-District soccer
player at Cache High School, along with earning many other awards and
achievements. Camryn is the daughter of Ervin and Maria Beisch and is planning
on attending Georgia Southern University.

An excerpt of Camryn’s essay:
As I prepare to move more than a thousand miles away from my parents in
Oklahoma to go to college in Georgia, I will keep the strength that David has had
to have this entire life to know that I can make this move and be just as successful
in my life as he has been in his. We cannot control the cards that we are dealt in
life, we can just control how we deal with them. David is a fitting example of the
strength it takes to overcome adversity. Who could ask for a better example of a
positive influence in my life than my Great Uncle David Linnell?
